My hard drive is on C and changing the letters of my removable drives didn't work. We are unique because we have expertise in products from a wide variety of third-party companies. But what you can do is try this (at your own risk!): rightclick My Computer, choose Properties, Hardware, Device Manager, expand both Floppy Disk Controllers and Floppy Disk Drives, rightclick Standard I have no floppy attached so cannot disable this.
