I can find only c:\program files(x86)\realtek\nicdrv_8169\win8. If your external hard drive is more than 2TB it is probably formatted in GPT instead of standard MBR, which cannot be read by 32bit Operating Systems such as WIndows XP. Also I've replaced my power. Only Microsoft Windows 7 can't see it own child. My hard drive now showed up in My Computer. Nope! I had to assign a Letter to the drive.
